What’s In The Record Bag – May 2018

Yup, it’s that time again, my monthly reconnoiter to my local record fair. While I didn’t get skunked this time, I did not get anything super exciting either. That said though, sometimes one gets surprised upon playback of records. That is part of the fun, you really never know.
So here is what was picked up and put into my record bag this trip:

I have a ton of classical in orchestral or symphonic form, but I have lately been getting into Baroque and Chamber forms as well. Of course, I have not idea what this sounds like yet in regards to quality and such, but for $2 it is worth the try.

Ok, people have been telling me to check this group out for a while. I just never got around to it until I picked this up today, so I’ll check it out when I can.

I picked up the stereo version of this LP last month and the cover is a mess. I found this today for $1, note it is the Mono version, should be interesting. The cover is also in far better condition.

I have a few albums by Strawbs and have only heard one so far, but I liked what I heard. Every Strawbs LP I have picked up so far I can easily tell what the idea or concept is for them, but this one threw me, so I had to get it.

I have many of these songs on other albums by these artists, but I just picked this up for giggles,….you know me.
